Review of The Lone Ranger (2013) by Nathalie B — 13 Jul 2014
Nowhere near as bad as many critics would have you believe but at 2hrs 30min far to long. Could have done with a decent bit of editing, at script stage or in the final edit doesn't rally matter, as at least 45mins could have easily been lost without effecting the overall plot.
Personally I would completely cut Bonham-Carters character as fine as the performance is, it really adds nothing to the overall film. Some wonderful scenery and breathtaking action though Hammer is underserved as everything revolves around Depp to the detriment of the film.
