Review of The Lone Ranger (2013) by Zaki S — 19 May 2014
I wanted to like this. I really did. Everything was there for this to be a great movie, but it was just put together so poorly. You can't have a marriage between a gritty re-imagining of the classic western story of the Lone Ranger and unfunny Disney quips and humor normally reserved for Dewayne Johnson comedies.
The look was there. The writing and directing just completely sunk it,.
