Review of The Lodge (2020) by Estonism — 16 Feb 2020
Great, depressing, eerie, sideways movie. It was a bit slow unraveling, but what a ride with cutting tension, Acting was excellent. Not the typical hollywood farce of cheap tricks and tempo led storytelling.
Riley Keough's resistance is well played and one can't keep from feeling The Shining like dread Riley's fight plays out. 9/10 from me. Kudos to Fiala and Franz, the directors.
