The Lobster film is not for everyone, most will turn it off in the 10-15 minute. For here initially everything seems strange. Until you realize that The Lobster is a dystopian satire and a modern lifestyle.
It's like Black Mirror with only a stem. The main message of the director Lanthimos conveys to the helplessness and indulging of the main characters, because modern society is. The open ending generally leaves the viewer with his mouth open, because he simply breaks leaving the viewer with his thoughts.
