This is the most pretentious movie I have ever seen. I feel like the premise could have worked if more questions were answered. As it is, I was too distracted by the question of why and how a society would function like that.
To be fair, it did have a few good scenes. Farrell and Weisz give outstanding performances. However, the overly cynical story and ending left me wanting to stab my eyes out.
