Review of The Lobster (2015) by Grant T — 11 Jun 2017
One of the strangest films that I have seen in a long time. I wanted to like this film but is very dark and extremely slow. I also didn't feel that it had anything worthwhile to show us, or to say.
Too bad, as the premise is so out there, I found myself hoping that there would be some decent story wrapped within all the weirdness, but in the end, there was only weirdness. One start for daring, one for originality, and that is it.
