Review of The Lobster (2015) by Adam K — 16 Dec 2016
This is a remarkable work of originality; director Yorgos Lanthimos tells a story of bleak surrealism, something you might expect from Charlie Kaufman but with fewer words. This is not a satire or story for everyone, but it's worth a try because of it's bizarre beauty and haunting hilarity.
Colin Farrell deserves an Oscar nomination (he's nominated for a Golden Globe) for his stiff, emotionless and totally believable performance. On Netflix.
