Review of The Lobster (2015) by Nurtz K — 23 Jun 2016
Well photographed, indifferently directed, poorly plotted and far, far too long, "The Lobster" gets worse and worse as it continues. The sexual content is off-putting, and the reliance on the usual surrealist bag-of-tricks is unforgivable.
It features violence against animals, mutilation (and self-mutilation) of people and no redeeming thoughts.
