Lanthimos is a one-of-a-kind filmmaker and this goes to show for it. A completely bizarre, unique, and yet accurate reflection of our society, The Lobster delivers in a oddly bothering way. The only problems I had, was the overuse of slow-motion to extend too many scenes.
We get it, no need for pretentiousness.
