The first 3rd of the movie is great, if you can ignore the shoddy voice over prose with too much passive voice. Then, they kill a dog in brutal fashion, and it is all downhill from there. It's a shame, because I really was enjoying this movie, with its great, original premise and dark humor.
If you love animals, don't watch this. It tries too hard to be considered art.
