Review of The Lobster (2015) by Ka K — 27 Sep 2017
Although it was rather unenjoyable, The Lobster opens a conversation of relationship mores and turns it on its head. A film which expresses a poetic, albight cold and bleek tone against the bucolic Irish countryside.
If there weren't films like this, every film would be a RomCom Super Hero movie. I appreciate the film. But the film is coldly looking at emotional stagnation cold vomit soupy socks spaghetti in the bathtub style like Gummo.
disjointed.detached. vapid. humans are weird.
