Review of The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003) by Don S — 17 Jun 2011

My kids adore the tv show and my wife and I find it suitable family fare. The movie is along the same lines production wise (you'd think with a film you'd be able to see a bigger difference), and the characters are true to form.

Would have been better had Miranda been around, though I'm not saying it is bad. It is an okay story with a completely unbelievable ending. Hilary Duff is cute as a button - wish she hadn't gotten too big to continue doing the character.

This is light fare that can be enjoyed on a family night.
