Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Phil S — 14 Feb 2008
Timothy Dalton gets a bum deal for his two Bond films. Often forgotten or made fun of and it is so un fair. His two films are both very strong and this was his debut. The story is very intresting as Bond takes on the USSR in an unlikely place, Afghanistan.
The stunts are great for a 1980s action film and the music is good. The Bond car is one of the best and the Bond babe is pretty hot despite being in the era of shoulder pads, etc. This is one of my favorite Bonds and if you can ignore people hating on it and watch it, you'll agree that it is a good movie and one of the best Bonds.
