Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by John D — 30 Jan 2008
Dalton brought a welcome dose of reality and grittiness to the role after some of the complete and utter nonsense that gave the otherwise charming Roger Moore a bad name. Unfortunately, Timothy was something of an enigma, sparkling in his debut, and a plank in his 2nd and final appearance.
A lost opportunity in the Bond role, I would place him behind Connery, Craig and Moore, but ahead of Lazenby and Brosnan in terms of the ultimate Bond actor.
