Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Ian F — 15 Jun 2008
Not a spectacular movie but it's still one of my favourite Bond's. Timothy Dalton is easily my other favourite actor in the role next to Daniel Craig, giving the character an intensity and barely-concealed anger that makes him someone you'd honestly not want to piss off.
Coming after the increasingly shambolic Moore films this is real refreshing stuff with lots of great action sequences (Bond and Necros dangling from the plane is especially good). The theme song is brilliant, too.
