Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Jake W — 19 Jan 2009
BOND...80s style! This movie literally has 1980s style filmmaking all over it...straight down to over the top music. Timothy Dalton's Bond is nowhere near Sean Connery's Bond (who is the best Bond, hands down), Roger Moore's Bond (who brought more suaveness and humor to the character) or even Pierce Brosnan's Bond (who just seemed like Moore's Bond) for that matter.
He aims to make Bond a bit more gritty and realistic, as Daniel Craig recently has done with his Bond. I havent seen George Lazenby's Bond, so I cant exactly compare him yet. Overall, it was a good Bond movie.
