Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Manuel U — 30 Sep 2009
The typical bond film features more women for bond to flirt and ravage, this film only has one. the good point of it is this character has more substance when it comes to attracting more substantially tame women, not exactly the kind of juice required for a bond film.
timothy dalton is not that bad but please, he is nowhere near sean connery and this movie has bad villains, a plain plot line and pretentious action which fails to live up to the normal expectations of a true bond film.
it is caught somewhere in between moonraker and quantum of solace. does not come highly recommended. watch dr. no instead.
