Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Brian C — 16 Nov 2009
Timothy Dalton plays a more serious, mildly tempered Bond, who feels out of place, at times straining to hold a smile and looking like he doesn't get his own jokes. But like the film, Dalton excels in giving the Bond series its much needed makeover after the Roger Moore years, further emphasizing the dark realism of the spy life which makes clever use of humor, well constructed story, and thrilling high quality action sequences.
