Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Aren B — 02 Oct 2010
A competent entry in the Bond canon. Timothy Daltonâ??s take on the British superspy is far closer to Flemingâ??s original than most critics would have you think. Still, he lacks a certain charisma that makes him occasionally dull to watch.
"The Living Daylights" suffers from weak villains and a drawn out narrative, but itâ??s got some great action sequences, particularly a car chase through the German Alps that is one of the best in the entire Bond franchise.
