Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Doug Z — 26 Sep 2012
Trying to give Bonds besides Connery (and definitely not Roger Moore.. Roger LESS, please.. HA!), a chance. This is surprisingly good, and holds up well. I remember barely anything at all from when I saw it once in the theater.
. The opening sequence is good (can't say the same for the musical intro.. A-fricking HA??), good bond girl, solid action sequences, and Dalton is not bad at all in this.. Dunno why I always give him a bad rap.
. There are a few ridiculous, but forgivable bits.. Daniel and I were on the same Ferris wheel in Vienna as in the movie, which is very cool.
