Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Luca D — 30 Oct 2012
The Living Daylights is the fifteenth entry in the James Bond film series. It was the last film to use the title of an Ian Fleming story until the 2006 instalment Casino Royale and the first to star Timothy Dalton as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond.
Dalton's Bond is cool, calm and calculated. He brings a much harder edged bond but also shows vulnerability which makes the character feel more human and relatable, less superman more common man. Every actor whos played bond tried there own spin on the character but none are as unique and different as Dolton's portrayal.
He's also very good at the action remarkably doing alot of his own stunts, if I had to fight a bond I wouldn't be picking Dalton. Incredible miniatures, particularly the foreground ones and a fresh new take on bond.
Bring on the next one.
