Review of The Living Daylights (1987) by Ddd D — 29 Dec 2008
I definitely like Dalton better than anything that Moore did, but there are still some problems with this movie. I don't mind unbelievable things happening (driving the jeep out of the flying plane safely) and I can even take that Q installed some sort of laser in Bond's car that cuts the bottom half of another car completely off, but when Bond's front tires went flat, and he pressed a button and snow ski's conveniently popped out for the car to ride on.
. really? You could never imagine installing them because you would never expect that specific circumstance to happen (driving off road in snow and only the front tired go flat). But that is a problem with a good number of Bond gadgets I suppose.
Other than things of that nature, Dalton himself was a great Bond and the story wasn't totally ridiculous like some of the movies.
