Review of The Living and the Dead (2006) by Jennie R — 15 Apr 2011
The acting in this film was incredible!!! The actor that plays James does an outstanding job of portraying a mentally ill man. He really should have gotten some kind of recognition for this part. The story is a bit annoying and did not seem like a "psychological thriller" as categorized.
It is more of a public service announcement about the dangers of the mentally ill off their meds. The director tries to symbolize the racing madness he is going through by speeding up the film and playing a screeching guitar.
This was okay but really a movie you can pass up.
