Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Shmags Z — 25 Mar 2011
The type of film you don't realize how good it is while you're watching .. after it keeps coming to mind, the ethics of it all unravelling for weeks after viewing, does its masterful execution become more apparent .
. comes from a real place, never over-dramatic, builds a consistent suspense, though purely, and smartly, exploitative of everyone's voyeuristic nature ..
