A dystopian tale, though fiction, set in the lens of non-ficticious East German, The Lives Of Others tells the tale of a man ("Wiesler") who has dedicated his life to the service of his state interrogating and uncovering those deemed "dangerous" to its interests.
When Wiesler is assigned to investigate the alleged subversive activities of a well-know writer, he begins to question his morals, his past, and everything he has always known. A truly brilliant story with moving performances, The Lives Of Others is a must-see story of growth, betrayal, and self-actualization.
