Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Doug C — 24 Aug 2011
A powerful drama about an East German Stasi agent who becomes involved in the lives of his subjects in the act of surveilling them, and I can't think of a film with a more perfect ending. This is an extraordinarily good beginning for director Florian Henckel-Donnersmarck.
