Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Leo K — 12 Apr 2012
I actually didn't expect this movie to be so damn good, and very well written! Take a step back about 26 years into socialist Germany, and you have an insane tale about jealousy, love, and the darker side of government. While a bit slow at times, this film reads more like a literature piece, than a typical story-book novel.
Highly recommended. A+.
