Review of The Lives of Others (2006) by Ibrahim A — 02 May 2012
In 1984 East Germany, when a Stasi agent suspects a play writer of posing a threat to the government and a government official decides to pin something on him for an ulterior motive, the Stasi agent has him under full surveillance but when the writer doesn't show any kind of threat and seemed that he truly believes in his leaders, the Stasi agent's becomes somehow connected with the writer.
A powerful film with great performances and a very intelligent plot that will keep you hooked until the very last moment.
