What a brilliant and powerful political thriller. This a close to perfect thriller and definitely deserved it's Oscar for Best Foreign Film in fact I think it should have gotten at least another won for it's script because it is fantastic.
Great direction and the performance by Ulrich MÃ 1/4he. The fact it takes place in the year 1984 is very interesting giving some kind of Orwellian quality to it. This movie is just about perfect. Must see movie.
