The Lives of Others is a powerful but quiet film. It is about an agent of the secret police, conducting surveillance on a writer and his lover, who finds himself becoming increasingly absorbed by their lives in 1984 East Berlin.
Ulrich Mühe and Martina Gedeck give incredible performances. The script is well written. Florian Henckel-Donnersmarck did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama.
