The lives of others is just excellent in every aspect. It's one of those rare thrillers which has depiction of human nature with memorable performance from late Ulrich Muhe. It's certainly of the best thrillers ever made and also best first time made film by any director,tremendous work by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.
