Review of The Little Vampire (2000) by Laurajay L — 01 Aug 2012
This was just plain awful, so awful that I don't see how critics can be so soft on this young vampire flick, and it's a shameful memory from my childhood. It's almost as bad as The Flintstone's movie.
Why? The characters are not special, and completely unrelatable. The story had so much potential, but it was completely squandered on making it look childish. The presentation is bland, and the jokes are so unfunny that only a child could laugh at them.
Overall, this movie, I believe, had so much potential that was mercilessly squandered by the Edel directors.
