Review of The Little Things (2021) by Petenbama — 30 Jan 2021
I thought a poor attempt at making a compelling thriller along the lines of Se7ven or Zodiac. Thought acting and character of the young detective was poorly done; he always looked at Denzel with head cocked sideways and always had upper lip grossly overlapping lower lip.
..what the hell? Could not make it past half way. Something about the color grading made every scene too dark, had to turn up tv brightness all the way even for brighter scenes, something I've never done before.
Was presented on HBO Max in HDR, but found the dynamic range worse than regular SDR.
