Review of The Little Things (2021) by Umaumai — 30 Jan 2021
It’s mildly compelling at best. None of the characters’ actions or motivations make any sense, even with the twist that’s supposed to bring this “thriller” all together. Maybe it could be called a character study, but as bewildering as this movie was put together you could still see the final moments coming.
It feels like they were going for “up-beat” as it rolls credits, especially in the music cue, and that for me felt like a very wrong direction with the current climate in regards to law enforcement.
I know there isn’t a lot of new content out there right now, but this is skippable. Rewatch “Seven” and “Zodiac” and you have most of what this movie draws from.
