Review of The Little Rascals (1994) by Jim C — 08 Aug 2011
I remember watching this as a young child and watching the 1920s cartoon. Heck, I didn't even know hollywood remade this a few years ago. Oh, well. Time to get on to my opinion.
The story/premise about a group of boys that despise girls while dealing with two bullies, but have to learn to accept girls in an important lesson about trust, friendship, and love was smart, but suffered from too many flaws.
Despite that, I liked everything about this movie. The kiddie actors were likeable and the jokes were unforgettably funny including the What's the high sign scene and where Buckwheat sanged "We Got A Dollar" after he and Porky caught a duck that had a dollar.
Sure, the movie had a few problems here and there, but in my opinion, The Little Rascals a very decent family comedy.
