It was like a nightmare, they made the little prince grow up, gave him a mind numbing job, turned the businessman into a powerful tyran that controls the prince, killed the rose, destroyed the planet with the baobabs.
. Everything that you wouldn't want to happen happens. Just at the end the child manages to turn things back as they should be with no explanation and making no sense at all and it just felt like I ate too much after reading the book then went to bed and had a little prince related nightmare.
They should have ended the movie at the point when the aviator tells the girl how the story ends and the little prince is bit by the snake, just like in the book. Now you want me to believe that all this time the stars weren't laughing, the little prince wasn't back on his planet with his sheep and his fox? If you love the book don't watch the movie.
If you haven't read the book don't watch the movie just read the book.
