Review of The Little Prince (2015) by Hunter L — 12 Jan 2016
The Little Prince is one of the most wondrous and magical films I have ever seen. I was on the brink of tears for the first two-thirds of the film. Sometimes it was because of the sadness of the themes of adulthood and the acceptance of loss.
At other times it was because I was amazed by the breathtaking visuals and absolutely beautiful score. Although it loses its magic a bit in the third act and turns into more of a standard animated fare, The Little Prince is still, as a whole, an emotionally powerful and astonishing film that adds a lot of depth to its classic source.
