Review of The Little Prince (2015) by Tiff K — 16 Feb 2016
I reallllyy wanted to love this because it's... The Little Prince! And I loved that book and I expected a lot from this movie. The stop motion animation was beautiful and I liked it because it actually featured the story from the book.
The movie's second plotline involving the little girl and the aviator was kinda half baked and didn't have as much heart as I expected. The trailer had even more heart than this so I'm not sure if it's the writing, or the voice acting (I kept picturing Jeff Bridges as the Aviator and.
.. the casting was kinda off! hahaha) but I did not become emotionally invested in this. And yes, Paul Rudd as Mr. Prince was kinda off too. Haha! Not something I'd want to watch twice... :(.
