I've watched it twice now and was blown away.
Not only is it a film any adult who ever had an imagination will love, but my friends kids who saw it were totally captured the entire movie. In today's society where children are bombarded with awful soundtracks and a blitz of noise and color just to keep their attention, the fact that these kids say there and didn't say a word, didn't fidgit or complain was wonderful.
The movie within the movie was all I ever wanted it to be. The art was mind blowing and the story was as charming as I hoped it would be.
I cried my eyes out.
Long live imagination.
Adults who enjoyed this are sure to enjoy Tom Robbins "Still Life With Woodpecker".
