Review of The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (2008) by Andrina S — 28 Aug 2008
Surprisingly enough, this movie actually has some really good animation in it. Not good as in the classic Little Mermaid, but at least on a par with say, Anastasia. The story itself isn't too bad, and there are some genuinely good moments, such as the story of Tritan's wife, but of course it's only a cute aside, and nothing like the magical, romantic adventure of the original.
It isn't the greatest Disney sequel, but it is certain superior to most.
