Review of The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (2008) by Sv G — 28 Feb 2009
As others have said this is not nearly has good as the first feature in any respect; however; for very young children this can still be engaging and the DVD comes with very good interactive games and activities.
The score and music and animation do not touch the original movie, but it is comparable to the saturday morning animation. Sally Fields does lend a surprising performance as the villian Marina Del Ray.
