Nothing will replace the original film 1990 from the old Disney charm was a legend from many kids and adults ,the red head ginger girl was replace by standard woke politics they change the story line and the plot 2hours long.
.. and bad CGI bad chemistry between the prince and the new woki mermaid everything looks force and the monarchy at the island accept adopted son as prince ? the island looks the colors of Benetton about the people village etc.
they trying to modernized the past too? anyways if you never watch the original go ahead is 1 and 20 minutes but have the magic in it, this live action don't ,many reviews are loyal to the new Disney flock even is the movie is terrible they will give the best review.
