Completely unnecessary. This movie does nothing to justify its own existence. All it does is try giving Ariel a false sense of empowerment at the expense of Eric. In addition, the visual effects are distractingly bad, Awkwafina's rap song is beyond pointless and cringeworthy and the stofy offers nothing new.
