It's a cute movie for all ages.
Now if the roles were reversed, and it was a male-mermaid, I don't think I'd to give up my wonderful singing voice, in-trade to become human-mute, just so I could be with a dreamy female princess... lol. Then again some people will go to some crazy lengths, just to get what they want.
