A frankly overrated film, The Little Mermaid is a very cliché Disney flick, even for its time. The main character is a sulky brat who never learns her lesson, and gets undeservingly rewarded for the trouble she causes.
Despite this, I do like the film’s soundtrack, and some of the side characters are entertaining.
