Review of The Lion King (1994) by Tungis G — 30 Mar 2013

I've heard this compared to a Joseph Campbell hero epic and thats plain silly. This is so boiled down its painful to sit thru. I understand its a kids movie but there are so many movies that do so much better what this movie tries to it hard to look favorably on it.

I expect a production like this to have more value as an adult feature as well.
