Thankfully Disney doesn't ruin Shakespeare's story but only adapts and enhances it. The Lion King scores on all fronts with immediately classic music but succeeds because of the Disney studio's strongest field: making films that grasp you and sends your emotions through a blender.
It brings comedy, tragedy and love...everything you could want in a story.
