Review of The Lion King (1994) by Jacob C — 19 Jan 2014
The Lion King is the best example of a Disney Renaissance film. It has a rich story with both strong roots in traditional mythology and a reinvigorated modern feel. Also, the voice casting is incredible.
No other collective group could have brought a better tone to this movie. They embody their characters perfectly and really enhance the story. On top of all that, the animation is vibrant and colorful.
It also enhances the story and accurately reflects the tone present in each separate scene. This all adds up to a solid film that will be a timeless classic someday.
