Review of The Lion King (1994) by Andreas C — 26 May 2013
One of the most delightful animated adventured of Walt Disney's productions is a fun tale of a lion who is the rightful heir of the throne as king of the jungle whose father was killed by his power thirsty uncle.
This is essentially a revenge film for the whole family, but its perfect balance of drama and adventure makes it compelling in a way that is even surprising for a Disney produced film. The songs by the Elton John and Tim Rice duo add value to the production, which on top of its narrative value, is also visually high.
