Review of The Lion King (1994) by Chris B — 11 May 2017
An emotional film that most kids are familiar with and one of the few Diameter films to go into the death of a loved one and the many issues involved. We are shown betrayal, grief, understanding and finally forgiveness and resolve.
The Lion King is such a prolific and wonderful film to behold with its stunning animation and portrayed scenery of Africa. The new reference quality Blu-ray just adds to the greatness of the film and brings it more to life, the 7.
1 Lossless Audio doesn't hurt either! Most everyone who wasn't a depraved child or one not capable of witnessing and coming to terms with The Circle of Life and the process of death, has seen The Lion King at some point.
I do however urge anyone who wants to experience and relive this amazing film to pick up the stunning Blu-ray or the whole Trilogy Lion King Box set on Blu-ray to really get the most out of this masterpiece!
